PAPER AND PASTE

Cast away my pleasures of sin,
My vulgar thoughts of waste.
Look more to knowledge within,
For life is but paper and paste.

Something more does exist beyond me,
Something more righteous and good.
It must include me, beyond my body,
Outside this cosmic neighborhood.

Something beyond this human life,
It goes way beyond life altogether,
Beyond the ego, children and wife,
Beyond the sunshine and weather.

With alphabets there is a ceiling,
Limited letters to write a poem.
Somehow I have a deep feeling,
We are all waiting to go home.
